Convert PDF to HTML on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .pdf file into HTML? Citrus converts PDF to HTML right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
Citrus extracts the text from the PDF into HTML. Fonts, columns and images are not kept, and scanned PDFs without a text layer give no text.
How to convert PDF to HTML
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .pdf file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose HTML as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
PDF: PDF is the universal, fixed-layout document format.
HTML: HTML is the web page format.
