Convert PDF to TIFF on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .pdf file into TIFF? Citrus converts PDF to TIFF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
Each PDF page becomes a TIFF image. Multi-page files go into a folder, one image per page. TIFF can also keep all pages in one file.
How to convert PDF to TIFF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .pdf file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose TIFF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
PDF: PDF is the universal, fixed-layout document format.
TIFF: TIFF is a lossless format used in printing, scanning and photo editing. Files are large but keep every pixel.
