Convert RTF to PDF on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .rtf file into PDF? Citrus converts RTF to PDF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
The result is a fixed-layout PDF that looks the same on any device. It is hard to edit afterwards. Formatting from complex templates, tracked changes and advanced tables may differ after conversion.
How to convert RTF to PDF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .rtf file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose PDF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
RTF: RTF is a simple rich-text format that keeps basic styling and opens in almost any editor.
PDF: PDF is the universal, fixed-layout document format.
