Convert PSD to TIFF on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .psd file into TIFF? Citrus converts PSD to TIFF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
Citrus converts the flattened composite of the PSD. Layers, masks and adjustment layers are not kept, so keep the original PSD for editing. Both formats are lossless, so pixels are preserved. Resize by percent or pixels, crop, and choose whether to keep EXIF and location data, all before converting.
How to convert PSD to TIFF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .psd file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose TIFF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
PSD: PSD is Adobe Photoshop's layered document format.
TIFF: TIFF is a lossless format used in printing, scanning and photo editing. Files are large but keep every pixel.
