Need to turn a .svg file into TIFF? Citrus converts SVG to TIFF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
Citrus draws the vector SVG at high resolution (at least 2048 px on the long edge) so the result is sharp. Use the resize option to pick an exact size. Very complex SVGs that use filters or custom fonts may look slightly different from your browser.
Both formats are lossless, so pixels are preserved.
Resize by percent or pixels, crop, and choose whether to keep EXIF and location data, all before converting.
How to convert SVG to TIFF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon).
Drop your .svg file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel.
Choose TIFF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution.
Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
SVG: SVG is a vector image format used for logos, icons and illustrations. It stays sharp at any size, but many apps and social sites need a PNG or JPG.
TIFF: TIFF is a lossless format used in printing, scanning and photo editing. Files are large but keep every pixel.
