Convert ODT to HTML on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .odt file into HTML? Citrus converts ODT to HTML right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
The HTML keeps headings, lists and basic styling, and is ready to put on a page. Formatting from complex templates, tracked changes and advanced tables may differ after conversion.
How to convert ODT to HTML
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .odt file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose HTML as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
ODT: ODT is the open document format used by LibreOffice and OpenOffice.
HTML: HTML is the web page format.
