Convert ODT to RTF on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .odt file into RTF? Citrus converts ODT to RTF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
RTF keeps fonts, bold, italic and basic layout, but complex tables and images may change. Formatting from complex templates, tracked changes and advanced tables may differ after conversion.
How to convert ODT to RTF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .odt file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose RTF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
ODT: ODT is the open document format used by LibreOffice and OpenOffice.
RTF: RTF is a simple rich-text format that keeps basic styling and opens in almost any editor.
