Convert MOV to AIFF on Mac, offline
Need to turn a .mov file into AIFF? Citrus converts MOV to AIFF right on your Mac, offline, using Apple's own engines. Nothing is uploaded to any server, which matters for client work, private photos and contracts.
What to expect
Citrus pulls out the audio track and saves it as AIFF. The video is not touched.
How to convert MOV to AIFF
Open Citrus from the menu bar (the citrus slice icon). Drop your .mov file, or several, into the window. You can also drag a file onto the menu bar icon to open the quick wheel. Choose AIFF as the output format and adjust options if you want, like size, quality or resolution. Press Convert. Your new files appear next to the originals, and the originals are never changed.
About the formats
MOV: MOV is Apple's QuickTime video container, produced by iPhones, Macs and many cameras.
AIFF: AIFF is Apple's uncompressed audio format, equivalent to WAV in quality.
